others get to be the action hero, the romantic lead, or the brilliant mind that changes the course of humanity… Most of us don’t feel that way. We usually feel like we have to accept our story as-is, no questions asked.
Don’t go off script.
Don’t try to make a difference.
Don’t ever reach for more.
And when we did try to reach for more, it looked like our story might end in tragedy.
It didn’t. Because whatever we dreamed for our lives, we found Jesus had a bigger
dream and a better story for us. That’s what he has for you, too.
His story for you is a God story—an intimate relationship with the King of the Universe.
It’s a freedom story—breaking loose from everything that’s held you back. It’s an
overcomer’s story—God’s power working through your everyday life. And it’s an
impact story—joining with others and working with Jesus to make a real difference.

Water baptism is one of the most exciting and foundational steps to growing in your walk with Christ. At The Gathering Place, we are passionate about obeying His instructions and following His example through water baptism. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward and spiritual grace. We are baptized in order to show others that we are a follower of Jesus Christ and to give up our old way of living to walk in a newness of life through the grace of Jesus.

Invest in healthy relationships.
Discipleship Track will equip you to start your journey while being paired with a one-on-one mentor to help you navigate your relationship with Jesus. Your mentor will share weekly devotionals, encouragement, prayer, guidance, as well as foundational tools to help you discover your gifts and your needs in this season.
A life-giving community with open doors.
Relationships, far more than church attendance, are what God uses to grow and mature our faith in Him. The best way to build these relationships at TGP is through Small Groups. Our Small Groups have a wide variety of locations, days, and times.
