WE ARE STRENGTHENED BY A CONFERENCE
The North Alabama Conference of The United Methodist Church is made up of eight districts that support and strengthen the churches that are within them. The Gathering Place Church is located within the Cheaha District of the North Alabama Conference. Each District has a District Superintendent who oversees and cares for all the churches in their district. The District Superintendents are led by the Bishop of the North Alabama Conference. The District and Conference leaders are pastors who love God, His Kingdom and the local Church. They work diligently to provide spiritual guidance and protection for the leaders and congregation within each local body.
